Noah (Noah Kopp Construction):

I  started working for my dad (Bruce Kopp) as a carpenter assistant the summer after my freshman year in high school. This is how my skills as a carpenter took root.  I gained experience in a variety of construction and landscaping projects including building additions, decks, retaining walls and patios.

During college, while working as a student, I worked as a maintenance mechanic at the Student Union, UW-Milwaukee. After graduation (BS in Biology), I was offered the position of supervising a team of student maintenance mechanics. I had the responsibity for repairing, or overseeing repair of, anything that could be broken in a 400,000 sq.ft. facility with over 20 eating establishments, 15 restrooms, and 25,000 students walking  through, on a daily basis. During these years at the univeristy I picked up  hands-on knowledge of just about every "handy man" skill there is.

In 2005, my family and I moved back to Lake Mills. I formed Noah Kopp Construction and have worked in construction full-time ever since. I am fully insured and licensed.  My father and I work separately or together, depending on the size of the project. My experience is highly varied including: new home construction, additions, remodeling (e.g., kitchens, bathrooms), ceramic tile, cabinet installation, decks, screen porches, brick patios and walkways, fences, and retaining walls. I'm meticulous and take great pride in my work.  I love what I do, and I  think it shows in my work.  Regardless of the size or complexity of the project--replacing a screen door, or building a house--at the end of the day the most important thing to me is that you are happy with the final product.
